Thule Single Step 12V Motorised Step – 460 or 550

Thule Single Step 12V is a motorised entry step designed to improve access to compatible caravans and motorhomes. It is available in 460 and 550 versions, allowing the step width to be matched to the installation.

The corrugated anodised aluminium platform provides a practical stepping surface, while the supplied connection switch supports an optional in-vehicle warning lamp. Automatic retraction when the engine starts can be added using the separately available Thule Relay Kit or Control Box.

Thule states that both versions conform to EMV and CE requirements and that its quality standards exceed European standard EN 1646.

Thule Relay Kit for Step 12V

Automatically retracts the step when the vehicle’s engine is started. Sold separately.

Thule Control Box for Step 12V

Adds automatic retraction when the engine starts and includes a door sensor that can automatically extend and retract the step with the vehicle door. The automatic door function can be switched off when the vehicle is stationary. Sold separately.

Electrical Installation Note

Install in accordance with the current Thule instructions. The official wiring diagram specifies a 20A fuse and 2.5mm² supply cable. The optional warning lamp or buzzer must be connected separately.
