Shipping & Delivery Policy

Last updated: 17 July 2026

This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to orders placed with Relive Campers through our website, by telephone, by email or through another distance-selling method.

In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Relive Campers. “You” and “your” mean the person or business placing the order.

1. Delivery areas

We deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom, subject to product size, weight, courier restrictions and availability.

Some services may not be available to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands or other remote postcode areas. Additional delivery charges or longer delivery times may apply to these locations.

We will contact you before dispatch where an additional charge or alternative delivery arrangement is required.

2. Processing and dispatch times

Orders are processed during our normal working hours.

Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.

Any processing, dispatch or delivery period shown on our website begins from the point at which:

  • your order has been accepted;
  • cleared payment has been received;
  • all required delivery and product information has been provided; and
  • the relevant products are available for dispatch.

Orders placed after our stated cut-off time, during weekends or on bank holidays will normally be processed on the next working day.

Cut-to-length products, special-order products, supplier-direct products, oversized goods and products requiring additional preparation may have longer processing times. Any applicable lead time will be shown on the product page, at checkout or communicated to you separately.

3. Estimated delivery times

Unless we expressly confirm otherwise in writing, all delivery dates, delivery windows and transit times are estimates only.

Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith based on normal courier performance. They are not guaranteed delivery appointments and time will not be treated as essential to the contract unless:

  • we have expressly agreed a specific guaranteed delivery date with you in writing; or
  • you told us before placing the order that delivery by a particular date was essential, and we expressly accepted that requirement.

An order confirmation, dispatch notification or courier tracking estimate does not by itself create a guaranteed delivery date.

Delivery estimates may be affected by stock availability, supplier lead times, courier capacity, weather, traffic, road closures, industrial action, public holidays, seasonal demand and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

4. Express and next-working-day services

Where an express service is offered, this means that we will use the corresponding expedited courier service after the order has been processed and dispatched.

An express or next-working-day courier service is not a guaranteed delivery date unless the service is specifically described by us as guaranteed and that guarantee is confirmed in your order confirmation.

Eligibility for an express service may depend on:

  • the order being placed before the stated cut-off time;
  • the products being physically available;
  • successful payment and security checks;
  • the delivery postcode;
  • the size and weight of the order; and
  • the courier collecting the parcel as scheduled.

Orders containing cut-to-length, special-order, oversized or supplier-direct products may not qualify for express dispatch. Express delivery for cut-to-length, special order orders are a standard charge of £7.95 unless stated.

5. Courier delays

Once an order has been dispatched, the courier controls the physical movement and delivery of the parcel. However, your contract remains with Relive Campers and we will deal with the courier where a parcel is delayed, damaged or lost.

We will take reasonable steps to investigate a delayed delivery and obtain an update from the courier. Courier investigations may take several working days, particularly where tracking is incomplete or a parcel has been scanned incorrectly.

A delay does not automatically mean that a parcel is lost. We may need to allow the courier’s normal investigation or declared-loss period to expire before issuing a replacement or refund, provided that this does not unreasonably restrict your statutory rights.

6. Delays outside our reasonable control

We will not be responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, flooding, fire, accidents, road closures, courier network disruption, industrial action, customs delays, public emergencies, failures of transport networks or exceptionally high seasonal demand.

Where such an event occurs, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the disruption and will contact you where the delay is likely to be substantial.

Nothing in this section removes any cancellation or refund right that you have under applicable consumer law.

7. Delivery addresses

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, including the correct postcode, building number, business name and any access information required by the courier.

Please check the delivery details carefully before completing your order.

Contact us immediately if an address needs to be changed. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has entered processing or been dispatched.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • an incomplete or incorrect address supplied by you;
  • restricted access to the delivery location;
  • the recipient being unavailable;
  • the courier being unable to locate the property;
  • missing access codes or delivery instructions; or
  • a request to redirect the parcel after dispatch.

Where a parcel is returned because of an incorrect address, failed delivery, refusal or failure to collect it, we may require payment of reasonable additional delivery charges before resending it.

Any cancellation or refund will be handled in accordance with our Returns Policy and your statutory rights.

8. Missed deliveries and collection points

The courier may attempt redelivery, leave instructions, deliver to a collection point or ask you to rearrange delivery.

It is your responsibility to follow the courier’s instructions and collect or rearrange the parcel within the time allowed.

Where a parcel is not collected and is returned to us, we may charge the reasonable cost of sending it again.

9. Safe-place and neighbour instructions

Where you ask the courier to leave a parcel in a nominated safe place, with a neighbour or at another location, you are responsible for ensuring that your instruction is suitable and accurate.

Courier photographs, GPS records, signatures and tracking scans may be used as evidence when investigating a disputed delivery.

We will still investigate a genuine claim that an order has not been received. Nothing in this section removes any legal responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Split deliveries

Orders containing more than one product may be dispatched in separate parcels or from separate locations.

The arrival of one parcel does not necessarily mean that the entire order has been delivered. Separate tracking details may be provided for each shipment.

You will not be charged additional delivery fees solely because we decide to split an order, unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed with you.

11. Large, heavy and oversized products

Large or heavy products may be delivered using a specialist carrier and may require assistance at the delivery address.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, delivery of oversized products is to a suitable accessible point at the delivery address. The courier may not be able to carry products inside a building, upstairs, through narrow access routes or into a workshop.

You must ensure that:

  • the delivery vehicle can safely access the address;
  • someone capable of accepting the delivery is available;
  • suitable assistance is available where required; and
  • the product will fit through the intended access route.

Additional charges may apply where a delivery fails because suitable access or assistance was not available.

12. Checking your delivery

Please inspect the packaging and products as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

Where packaging appears damaged, please photograph it before opening the parcel and retain all packaging until the issue has been resolved.

Please report missing, damaged or incorrect products as soon as reasonably possible, preferably within 48 hours of delivery. Prompt notification allows us to preserve evidence and make an effective claim against the courier.

Failure to report an issue within 48 hours does not remove any statutory rights you may have.

We may request:

  • photographs of the outer packaging;
  • photographs of the shipping label;
  • photographs or video of the damage;
  • details of missing contents; and
  • confirmation that the packaging has been retained.

13. Lost parcels

A parcel will normally be treated as lost when the courier confirms that it cannot be located or its applicable investigation period has expired.

Where a parcel is confirmed as lost before delivery, we will provide an appropriate replacement or refund.

You are not required to pursue the courier directly, although the courier may contact you for information needed as part of its investigation.

14. Installation bookings and consequential costs

Do not arrange installation, workshop labour, travel, accommodation or another time-sensitive commitment until your complete order has arrived and you have checked that the correct products have been supplied without visible damage.

Delivery estimates should not be relied upon when booking third-party labour or installation work.

We will not be responsible for costs or losses that could reasonably have been avoided by waiting for the products to arrive and be checked before making those arrangements.

Nothing in this policy excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

15. Cancellation because of delayed delivery

Where no specific delivery period has been agreed, we will deliver your order without undue delay and normally within 30 days of the contract being made.

Where delivery is delayed and the original delivery date was not essential, you may ask us to deliver within an additional reasonable period.

You may be entitled to cancel the order if:

  • we fail to deliver within that additional reasonable period;
  • we have refused to deliver;
  • delivery by the agreed date was essential and we accepted this before the order was placed; or
  • the circumstances clearly show that delivery by the agreed date was essential.

Where you have a legal right to cancel because of non-delivery, we will refund the relevant amount without undue delay.

16. Consumer orders

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights.

Consumer rights relating to delivery, cancellation, faulty products, damaged products and refunds will apply regardless of any conflicting wording in this policy.

17. Business and trade orders

This section applies where you are purchasing wholly or mainly for business, trade, craft or professional purposes.

Unless expressly agreed by us in writing:

  • delivery dates are estimates;
  • time is not of the essence;
  • we will not be liable for loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of opportunity, vehicle downtime or indirect or consequential loss caused by delayed delivery; and
  • our total liability arising from a delayed delivery will not exceed the price paid for the affected products.

Nothing in this section excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

How It’s Going

By the time Aron completed the third restoration on our own camper vans and numerous projects for other people along with brilliant feedback from customers, we decided the time was right to take the plunge and go into the camper van business full time.

The conversion and restoration sides of Relive Campers work perfectly together. Getting positive feedback and seeing the delighted look on people’s faces is priceless and gives us both incredible job satisfaction. We are particularly keen to give customers flexibility and different options – whether that’s buying a fully restored vehicle or a project, or on the conversion side a new kitchen or upholstery, a face lift, a pop top or a full fit out – whatever suits their budget.

Relive Campers has now totally taken over our lives and does not leave much time for our previous interests (Aron was semi-professional boxer and a keen violinist whilst Steph combines her legal work with clay pigeon shooting). We do however try and get out on the road in our own camper van as much as we can – otherwise Hopsin (our Patterland) would be impossible to live with – although he does enjoy his day to day role as Site Manager greeting customers as they arrive at our site in Trowell.

We have put our heart and soul into this business and our plan is to continue to expand and find creative ways to convert and restore camper vans into our customers’ dreams.

We look forward to welcoming you to be part of our continued journey and share our passion for the camper van ‘joy revolution’.

Aron and Steph (and Hopsin) xx
